- 概要
- Many econometric models can be viewed as incomplete or not fully specified. Examples include potential outcome models (not specifying the joint distribution of potential quantities), games with multiple equilibria (not specifying the equilibrium selection mechanism), non-standard discrete choice models (not specifying, e.g., the choice set), and dynamic models with endogenous states (not specifying how some of the states were formed), among others. The literature on econometrics of incomplete models is vast, mostly theoretical, and highly technical. This lecture aims to provide an accessible “guided tour” of the scope of incomplete models, existing results, implementation strategies, and recent advancements.
