- Most space tourism research is focused on space tourists' motivations. In contrast, the research project presented here is centered on pilots' motivations. Response surface analysis is applied to investigate on how pilot's intrinsic and extrinsic motivation influences two outcomes: desire to become a future space pilot as well as adherence to remain as an air pilot. Managerial implications of results are discussed.
