研究活動＜概要＞
日本は人口減少社会を迎えるなか、どのように都市・地域経済を維持・発展させていくのか考える必要があります。地理空間情報やミクロデータを用いながら、都市・地域経済に関する政策評価・立案に寄与できるような研究を目指しています。
人口減少社会を踏まえた都市・地域政策に関する研究
今後の人口減少社会を見据え、これまでに様々な都市・地域政策が行われています。
経済活性化や地域間移動等の観点からこれまで行われてきた政策を評価するとともに、
文理融合の観点からこれからどのような政策が必要になるのかについて指針を提示できるように研究を進めています。
集積の経済の実証研究
経済活動が集積することの便益と費用について研究するため、地理空間情報とミクロデータを融合させた研究を進めています。
研究成果の社会実装
エビデンスに基づく政策形成に向けて、学術研究の成果を社会に伝え、いかに活用していくのかが課題となっています。研究成果を社会へ還元できるように、研究成果に基づいたウェブアプリケーションの開発等、社会実装に取り組んでいます。
