概要
Abstract

中国では、シャドーバンキング（影子銀行）と呼ばれる銀行以外の金融仲介が近年急速に発達し、実体経済の新規資金調達の半分以上を占める。中国のシャドーバンキングは、①制度化された金融システムに組み込まれたもの(ノンバンクなど)、②インフォーマルな民間貸借(質屋や投資組合など)、③銀行システム外のフィンテック型、の３類型に分類できる。それぞれの発展メカニズム、形成過程、そのリスクについて考察すれば、後２者には、さまざまな問題の指摘が可能であるものの、自由競争への転換と金融包摂の意義や、金融分野におけるイノベーションの活性化をもたらす面があるという積極的評価が可能である。本報告では、中国のシャドーバンキングの変遷と実態を考察するとともに、その形成過程と機能、発展メカニズムを分析する。なお、本報告は、2022年上梓した拙著『中国のシャドーバンキング―形成の歴史と今後の課題』（早稲田大学出版部）の一部を要約したものである。

In recent years, financial intermediaries other than banks, known as "shadow banking" ("Ying Zu Ying Hang" in Chinese), have expanded rapidly in China. Currently, more than half of the Chinese real economy's new financing is via shadow banking, making it impossible to grasp the whole picture of financing from the commercial banks' loan balance alone.

There are three types of shadow banking in China: (1) those incorporated into the institutionalized financial system (non-banks, etc.); (2) informal private lending (pawn shops, investment cooperatives, etc.); and (3) FinTech outside the banking system, can be classified. Considering each development mechanism, formation process, and associated risks, various problems can be pointed out with the latter two. However, it is possible to positively evaluate that there is an aspect that brings about innovation and services that consider financial inclusion and structural changes to a multidimensional banking system based on free competition was made.

In this session, she will consider the transition and actual situation of shadow banking in China. She analyzes the system's formation process, function, and development mechanism. In addition, she will summarize part of her recently published book, History of Shadow Banking's Formation in China and Its Future Challenges, Waseda University Press, 2022.
