Abstruct
Digitisation has become an integral part of the corporate world and is rapidly gaining ground. In the digitisation process, companies are not only trying to digitise the primary processes directly involved in the value-added chain, but also the secondary processes that were previously considered as subordinate. These secondary processes include the processes of the human resources department, which are now becoming increasingly important due to demographic development as well as the industrial change towards a knowledge society and the associated struggle for talent.
This presentation deals with the digital transformation of the existing HR world into cloud-based solutions. Not only the technical changes but especially the influence on the HR processes will be shown.
The presenter will demonstrate how he has uncovered the research gap in the field of digital transformation and how he has contributed to closing it through qualitative research. He will discuss the findings from published articles, which, among other things, derive a process model for digital HR transformation into cloud-based solutions, which represent the influencing factors on such a transformation, but which also refer to quantitative measures of success. The qualitative research has been carried out in Germany, so that national peculiarities are also dealt with. Finally, the limitations of research and other fields of research are discussed.
