The United Nations Depository Library
The United Nations Depository Library System was established by the United Nations in order to disseminate
its activities to the public by depositing its documents at various locations throughout the world.
The Kobe University UN Depository Library, one of fourteen such libraries in Japan,
indispensable for the researchers in economics, diplomacy, human rights, and other related fields.
The specialized agencies of the United Nations have maintained and contributed to the deposit
libraries individually, and our institute is chosen as a deposit library of the International Maritime Organization (IMO),
making available almost all the publications of these agencies.
