| 概要 | Cyber-attacks have already emerged as apowerfulforce that is shaping Japan'seconomicandpolitical institutions. This paper aims toimproveourunderstanding of the barriers, challenges, and motivations relatedtothe enhancement of Japan's cybersecurity-related regulatory frameworks. It examines how the interplayofexternaland internalfactors such as high-profile cyber-attacks on the country's large defense contractors andlegislativebodies, pressuresfromforeign governments and threats posed by organized crime groups has shaped the company's cybersecurity responses. Alsohighlightedand discussed in paper are the Japan's cybersecurity framework's similaritiesand contrasts to major world economies. |
