人文社会科学の研究評価について

要旨

研究の評価を目的として、成果が公刊された学術誌のインパクト・ファクター等 のビブリオメトリック指数が用いられるが、この方法は人文社会科学の評価に適 していないと批判されている。本稿は、既存文献が指摘している問題点を整理し、 諸外国で取られている対応を報告する。
Bibliometric indicators such as the journal impact factor are widely used for the evaluation of academic research. However, researchers in social sciences and humanities often criticize that this evaluation method is not adequate for their research fields. This paper reviews the issues pointed out in the previous research, and report attempts in other countries to establish appropriate evaluation method.
