　MEXT Scholarship Applicants (Embassy Recommendation)

Please note that the deadline for requesting provisional acceptance for the 2027 academic year was September 1, 2026. We are currently not accepting any requests for provisional acceptance for 2027.

If you are planning to apply for the 2028 academic year, please strictly follow the official procedures below.

  • DO NOT contact your desired supervisor until you have passed the embassy's first screening.
  • DO NOT send any application documents directly to your desired supervising professor.

Requests for provisional acceptance must be submitted exclusively through the GSICS Academic Affairs Office, and only after you have passed the first screening.

We will not grant provisional acceptance to direct requests that do not follow this official procedure.
