Topic Development and Development Economics: A Note of an Editor of a Textbook of Development Economics
Abstract An editor of a Japanese textbook of Development Economics will talk about his retrospect after the third edition of the textbook was published in early 2015. The spoken language will be Japanese. A focal issue will be the tendency of Development Economics to take care of questions posed by Economics more than those posed by practitioners working on the ground level of international development. Roles of development economists will be discussed under this circumstance where Economics puppeteers Development Economics.
