環境R&Dと経済成長 The effects of environmental R&D on economic growth and environment in global economy |
| 概要 (Abstract) |
本研究の第一の目的は、Grossman and Helpman(1991, ch3)のVariety Modelに環境汚染と企業の環境R&D活動を導入し、企業の排出削減技術の開発が経済成長と環境に与える影響を分析することにある。Grossman and Helpman(1991, ch.3)のモデルを活用することにより、企業による排出削減技術の研究開発行動(環境R&D活動)を議論することが可能となる。さらに、これが経済成長と環境に与える影響を分析することが可能となる。第二の目的は、国際貿易を導入することによって、日本と東アジアのグローバル化の進展が環境R&D活動を通じて各国の経済成長と環境にどのような影響を与えるのかを分析することである。第三の目的は、各国政府が最適な企業の排出基準(排出率の水準)をどのように規制するのかを検討することにより、国際環境合意の成立条件を考察することである。 The purpose of our research project is to examine the mechanism how the firm determines the optimal emission rate and to investigate the effects of this environmental R&D on economic growth and environment. The model will allow to examine the validity of the Japan's new growth strategy by green innovation. The second purpose is to study the effects of free trade on economic growth and environment through environmental R&D. The model will be expected to investigate the effects of East-Asian trade expansion on the economic growth and environment through environmental R&D. The third purpose is to study how governments introduce the national environmental standards (emission rate). We expected to examine the realizability conditions to achieve international environmental agreements based on this result of analysis. |
