| 概要： (Abstract) |
研究開発の初期段階における事業構想は、技術と事業の統合を促進する。本研究では、不確実性によって事業構想自体が早期に確定できない場合、複数の事業構想に基づいた開発オプションを並行開発することで、不確実性リスクを低減する技術と事業の統合プロセスの可能性を示した。この目的を達成するため、台湾奇美グループの液晶テレビセット開発事例を検討する。この事例では、並行開発のコスト増加を抑えるため、アウトソーシングによる開発を行っていた。アウトソーシングによる開発は、技術の外部流出の問題が懸念されるが、コア・コンピタンスは技術選択時の開発オプションの保有そのものであり、個別の技術流出はあまり問題とならないと考えられる。 A business concept at an early stage of R&D helps integrating between technology and business results. Uncertainty will, however, interrupt making early business concept. This study will discuss parallel developments of various technology options based on various business concepts. They are essential for effective integration between technology and business results with low uncertainty risk. To argue on this matter, we show a practical case of LCD TV product development in Taiwanese Chimei conglomerate. Chimei has used outsourcing of some parallel R&D options to reduce R&D cost. When a company outsources their R&D of important technologies, spilling out of them for competitors may be a disputable point. But major core-competence for the company in the present process is just holding R&D options at the stage of decision making, not keeping individual technologies. |
