 Systematic Utilization of CAE and Product Development Performance in Japanese Auto Parts Industry |
| 概要： (Abstract) |
本研究は暗黙知の世界が違う解析技術者と設計技術者がそれぞれ最適化したCAEデータとCADデータの連携時に生じるミスマッチを修正するため、部門間で暗黙知を共有化することが開発パフォーマンスに及ぼす影響について調べたものである。本研究の分析結果、3次元CADと連携したCAEの活用は、部門間の擦り合わせによる暗黙知の共有化を促進させるため、開発期間の短縮には結び付かないものの、新技術開発と製品の総合品質の向上には有効であることが明らかとなった。 As the effective tool for the product development, the previous researches have focused mainly on 3-D CAD system. Therefore, the previous researches have neglected the importance of utilization of CAE linked to 3-D CAD system that might critically affect the performance of product development. But this research deals with the effectiveness of systematic utilization of CAE for product development. The results of this empirical study on Japanese auto parts industry are as follows. Systematic utilization of CAE makes the increase of communication among the sections of inner organizations. So, the increase of communication among the sections of inner organizations makes the engineers having different experiences share their tacit knowledge each other. Therefore, systematic utilization of CAE extends the product development lead-time, while it improves the total quality of product and enhances the development of new technology. |
