 Overview

Since 2003, Graduate School of Economics and Research Institute of Economics and Business Administration of Kobe University have been jointly promoting a project of "21st Century Centre of Excellence (COE) Program". This project aims to investigate the issues of national and international importance and serious concern under the common theme "Sustainable Economy under Globalization and Decreasing Population". At present, various projects of joint research such as serial seminars which invite domestic and foreign eminent researchers, holding symposiums and carrying out collaborative research with foreign institutes by visiting directly, are progressing.

We consider that such a joint international research is indispensable and timely needed one. Hence, it is necessary that a solid base for joint research is to be set up to share achievements of the COE project and promote further research activities. This led to the establishment of "Center of International Joint Research for Economic Analysis and Policy (COREAP)". We aim to expand and promote COREAP as an international academic focal point to REAP and CO use the important research achievements by domestic and foreign researchers.
