Unbundling Property Rights in India |
| 概要： (Abstract) |
We examined the effect of threats to property rights on economic performances of manufacturing sector of Indian states. We construct indices of the threats from the data on crime against property rights. Our estimation results show that not only threats to physical property but also threats to contracts adversely affect manufacturing sector in India. |
