| 概要 (Abstract) |
The last era of anchored currencies--the gold-exchange standard for a couple decades after the Second WW--broke down because there was no institutionalized fiscal discipline imposed on the reserve currency country, the US. For similar reasons, the past decade-and-one-half-long experiment with a common currency among European countries has failed because of a lack of effective institutionalized fiscal discipline. |
