India's Financial Sector Reform Agenda and Policy Questions |
| 概要 (Abstract) |
This presentation takes stock of India's recent financial sector reform agenda and examines policy questions faced by the country authorities. More specifically, it discusses key challenges on financial sector issues, including banking sector modernization, financial market deepening, and financial inclusion (not least). It will then review policy dilemmas with regard to specific regulations, covering foreign direct and portfolio investment regulations, priority sector lending, and insurance regulations. Lastly, it will briefly elaborate ongoing Japan-India bilateral financial cooperation frameworks. |

インドの経済発展という側面でも、日本企業の進出という側面でも、インドにおける「会社」という存在は重要な役割を担っていると考えられます。その「会社」を司る会社法は、旧法が1956年に制定された古い体系が50年以上維持されていましたが、2013年8月に新会社法として生まれ変わり、現代化・グローバル化を果たしています。今回は、日本人弁護士として、日系企業のインド進出を複数支援してきた経験を基に、インドの会社法や関連法制の特徴について報告を行います。 |
