Kanematsu Fellowship
In 1993, the Institute established the Kanematsu Fellowship by setting up a committee jointly with Kanematsu Corporation and the Kanematsu Foundation for the Research of Foreign Trade. The purpose of this fellowship is to provide scholarships for graduate students who wrote high-quality paper in economics, management, and accounting. The Institute advertises for submissions of papers every year. In 2010, there were 14 applicants and 1 prize winner. In addition, the Institute invited three past prize winners and had a special seminar this year for celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Kanematsu Foundation.
